Elks Aidmore has expanded its services to include Therapeutic Foster Care.  The following positions are available in the Conyers and Valdosta areas:

• Foster Parents:  Specially trained individuals or couples, who are willing to accept into their home, children ages 4-18, with behavioral and/or emotional difficulties. Must model healthy family roles and functioning; complete 36 hours of initial training and on-going annual training program; be financially stable; have a high school diploma or equivalent; possess a driver’s license and, be at least 25 years of age.
  
  
• Family Consultants:  Works with the foster family and child to ensure academic, therapeutic and medical needs are met.  Home visits are provided on a weekly or biweekly basis; functions as part of a team to provide support/assistance on a 24-hour/7 day-per-week.   Applicant must be at least 21 years old; a Bachelor’s degree in a human service related field is required for this position; a Master’s Degree and 2-3 years experience preferred.
